Depends what you are using the site for. If it is networking or communications .net...if other My vote go's to .us. But we all know that .com is still king!..right?

Depends on the market you are targeting. If it is worldwide .net, if it is the US then .us will end up being the better choice here in the very near future IMHO.

I agree completely. The fact to ponder upon is how many entities (businesses/organizations/individuals) are truly targeting the entire globe. In fact, many are totally content with having a focus on local/regional users/customers and won't even necessarily be worried about having a national exposure.
