whats egold ?

i got a domain seller in some other forum, asking for egold payment only for a domain.

i dont use it and have no idea. would be nice if someone can please guide me like, what it is, how it operates and how safe ?

i can open an acct and carry on, but how much safe my deal will be , in that case.

i personally will pay with paypal at least.
if you don't know the reputation of the seller, you'd better go with escrow.com, sedo or moniker with the escrow.

i wouldn't recommend trusting the seller, which accepts only one form of payment., except it cost less then you can afford to lose

I don't like paypal much but I never felt confortable about e-gold cause there is no security , no chargeback.
