Hey guys,

There are so many domains dropping and its nice to see a variety of tools out there that bring domains dropping at Godaddy, Namejet, Snapames all in one place with stats to do very quick comparisons.

Which tool have you found to be the most useful?

Most of these tools appear to be subscription based. Are any good ones free or reasonably priced?

Thanks for the help.

If you have the inclination, you can write your own tool. It's pretty easy to pull the lists on a daily basis. Any scripting language (Perl, Python, Ruby, for example) can make HTTP requests, unzip, etc. The lists are one domain per line so they're easy to parse. The problem is the sheer volume (70k-100k per day these days) and how to make sense of it afterwards. Also, bulk lookups are costly. I'm still trying to figure out how to do WHOIS, PR, etc. in quantity in a cost effective way. Let me know if you need help.

FreshDrop.net is by far the best tool for this. Alot of their data feeds are free to use and it's tried and trusted by alot of the large domain investor community.
