What's the best way to reach end-users to promote domain sales?

I am looking for ways to sell domains to end-users. For example, how should I approach companies that I found online which might be interested to buy my domain names? How should the conversation be? I do have a number of .com's which the same .net is an active site.

Do you recommend domain brokers? Ebay, sedo, afternic and dnf doesn't seem to be working well for me because I cannot sell my domains below the price I purchased it for.

Also, do you recommend the feature listings on sedo and afternic?
