I'm just a noob, so I gotta ask:

With deep respect to anyone from Turkey, it's quite clear that there are an abundance of domains offered for sale with traffic almost exclusively from Turkey. Often the traffic is only shown to be very recent.

Certainly I know to be cautious. (For one thing I wouldn't want a domain without US traffic.) But really, what's the root cause of this phenomenon? Or am I imagining things?

IMHO, in my eyes Chuckles; turkish, chineese, japanese, korean, arabic etc. traffic are all the same.
it's so hard to optimize these websites/dns to attract visitors,
there are not much advertisers on those markets,
and mainl issue is language problem.
At the end of the day, this business is about "supply vs demand".
