That can't be right. That was still landrush price. It's much lower now.
Moniker is $12.95 per year, min 2 years.
There are cheaper registrars, but smaller & not so reliable.

thanks, yes I registered it in the landrush....I just checked now Godaddy is about $15.....much better.

ResellerClub is the cheapest but is not that easy, given you need to fund your a/c with at least $199 upfront and then wait to be approved...
for casual registrations Moniker is my fav. at $12.95/yr
