Have you had any experience with them? It seems as though they are selling Snapbacks for only $49 with extra services.

Don't forget that you have a maximum of 3 changes of name with the namealerts.com product, whereas "normal" snapbacks give you unlimited exchanges.

DomainPond.com will soon offer SnapBacks for $44.99 to
public and $39 to DR, NS, and DP members.

Just something to watch out for!

Actually Greg announced last week that Platinum forum members will get Snaps here with an introductory price of $39. Should be ready within the week. I think it would be nice if people who want them buy them here to support the forum (who after all did announce them first and used the right venue to do it).

Those cheap prices are great... BUT... I think that SnapNames is going to need a lot of additional domain catching resources to keep up the success rate they had in the past.

So while these cheap Snaps are great, they might decrease the success rate. Perfect example: old NameWinner (don't know about the to-be-launched NW yet though)

True, but don't forget that the three exchange limit isn't specific to NameAlerts. The snaps that DNForum and DomainPond say they're going to offer will also have the same limit.

Didn't want people thinking that we're somehow shortchanging our customers - anyone who offers SnapBacks via the API will be subject to the same limit.

Best wishes,
Simon.

so the burning question is who is mr. $49.99 with UNLIMITED name changes? I know dnforum members are very active and won't like to be limited to 3, like most other mere mortals.
