.com is the best, and will be the best for a very long time.

.com will always be the most valuable. .net and .org will always be the next most valuable. I think .us will be the 4th.

Here is my latest tld extension value theory from most valuable to least -
#1 of course is .COM, followed in order by .US, .ORG, .NET, .BIZ, .INFO and all the country codes trail the field.

.com is here to stay, don't let anybody tell you anything different followed by .net, .org, .us. biz, .co.uk and .info.
This of course is dependent on the name itself as some names just don't work with with the extensions .org, .biz and .info.
For example casino.org all though a great name will not be as powerful as casino.biz. This of course is only my personal opinion.
