which domain is better for resale or development, musicauction.com or musicauctions.com

Develop one of them, then offer both when you sell it.

I like the singular better. The plural sounds like there's multiple auctions.

The plural is better. Look at some of these examples from the 'big boys'

It always matters. Of course you're going to redirect the other, but you have to pick one to name and market the site.
