The main question is not whether competitors are overcharging. It is whether your name has enough buyer paths to justify waiting.

To expand on this: ccTLDs are undervalued in my opinion. .de, .co.uk, .com.au — these have genuine end-user demand in their respective markets. If you know a country's market, there's opportunity.
