Do they act as the canadian address for you? I think I found somebody who will do this, but if dnforum provides a canadian address for one, that sounds great!

Nico

FYI: You don't need a Canadian address to register a .ca domain.

I can do it via Tucows/OpenSRS if you want.

Nameslave, I passed many good domains because of the canadian restriction, could you give more datails about it? I was sure you needed to be a canadian or live in Canada to get a .ca domain.

I found somebody who does the job for me, thanks a lot.

Best Regards
Nico

nico, can you PM the registrar that does this for you?
thanks.

to contact you? I think he is reading that thread so that should be no problem.

Best Regards
NIco

Well ... if you read the linked above more carefully, you can tell that there are 18 different ways to fulfill the "Canadian presence requirements". Basically, you need to be a Canadian (individual or corporation) to be eligible. But then it would be difficult to enforce except by asking the registrant to explicitly sign a TOS during registration (and that is why registering a .ca domain is a more complicated process). HOWEVER, having a Canadian address does NOT necessarily mean that you are Canadian, or vice versa. Of course, there are some silly registrars out there using simply the address field to filter out ineligible registrants. Hope this answer your question. ;)

I have no problem doing this for some dn dollars. Email me at sales at dnrx.com if you need anyone.

guys, let me know if you need .ca to be registered. I will do it for 800 + registration

You'd better stick on the forum for a while and let people know you. I sure wouldn't use someone that has 2 posts...
