I would have taken the 65k as well. Also I liked whois.sc over the .com...now I have more to type...I type out just about every url I visit...less shorter the domain name imho the better

Dot SC now stands for ShortCut instead of source. The URL whois.sc/DOMAIN will continue to give great whois records, keep typing it in and it will always work. We have been accredited as an official registrar for DOT SC (the country of Seychelles). Therefore that domain will never get deleted or become a parking page. (The same advise we give our clients, renew your domains).
