:-D

Whaddya think? Not too shabby for catching this one this morning. "Dropped" some time late yesterday. Have been tracking it for a couple of days.

The name is going to be developed, and linked to my Anywhere.bizâ„¢ site.

I hate to say this, but wi-fi is trademarked.

I ran into something similar today on a different forum with wifigear.com. I had no idea it was trademarked either until another guy brought it up there.

It is a stupid TM imo.

I dont think it would hold up but I am not very into the legal stuff.

Yes, I agree.

I hope not having the hyphen makes a difference.

thanks for the info guys... I'll probably use it to redirect to Anywhere.biz...

Just for the heck of it, I checked "Wifi.com", "Wifi.net", and "Wifi.org" to see what type of sites were up. Looks like they redirect...

An honorable mention:

http://www.wifi.net :-D

weird indeed, pretty tight site that wifi.net, linked to mp3.tv, if there's any trademark issue they would have heard about it......

no wait, as I recall there cannot bé any tm issue if the subject and commercial activity of a word-related site does nót coincide and if the url itself is not trademarked.

So as long as wifi.ws is not already trademarked and there is not any commercial activity that is related to WiFi-technology or mobile comm. or any activity that can damage the position of WiFi, you are clear.
