Wikipedia pages look good on your desktop screen but they are not optimised for the small screen of your mobile phone.
Enter wapedia.mobi - this mobile website lets you conveniently read most Wikipedia articles on mobile phones. If the article is very long, wapedia would split it in multiple pages....continued here

Its proving to be very very popular too...

Alexa Trend/Rank: #9,520 UP 4,182 ranks over the last three months.

Compete Rank:#69,612 with 23,794 U.S. visitors per month

WOW !!

Nice Read Pred :eek:k:

Wapedia was started in August 2004.
Interestingly Wapedia.org now redirects to Wapedia.mobi
Wapedia.mobi is the stand alone site.
The .com equivalent is owned by Frank Schilling, and of course a parked page. So the rapid rise of this .mobi website is indeed exciting and entirely on merit.

It is optimized for google and has much backlicks. Thats why it returns a lot in the serps of mobile and PC searches. Thats the reason for the high Alexa ranking...

Mobile visits dont count for Alexa rankring. So it quite unique to get such a high ranking.
