.EU stands for European Union. It will be the first zonal TLD when it launches. What do you think? Will you grab one? Or that it sucks big time..

I will certainly do .EU's.
I'm still looking for a partner that offers pre-regs for a reasonable price!

.eu will be completely worthless.

Why?

Because there is no country called Europe; every european country has its own tld; that's why a .cn is even worth more than a .eu - because China at least is a country and .cn it's tld whereas nobody needs .eu ( ok i'd take sex.eu of course :D ).

Just like it is with .biz/.info:

If it won't be marketed heavily towards end users by TV,print and such the general public won't be even aware such an extension exists.

Hell, most endusers don't even know about the existence of .net/.org...

Thats Your opinion!

in my opinion .cn is worthless, and .eu will ROCK,
Why, because in europe we have many english speaking people, so words like realestate, car, cameras and so on will have more value then .cn .

Yeah but every european country *already has* it's own tld - including the UK.
And the most impotant thing for endusers is they wanna be found - which to most is not the case with a tld completely unknown to consumers/customers.
.cn on the contrary is already known to chinese people at least.
So .eu will be ok for SEO reasons but other than that i can't see any value.

Yeah, especially with the European Union opening up for export/import of goods with no hassle whatsoever.

.EU will rock!
