Hello everybody,

Couple of days ago i won one name at NJ and it was/is at Fabulous.com. It's my first "Fabulous" domain so I have one question. Are there any special restrictions as for example Enom has (1,5 month auction lock) or 60 days Godaddy lock - or I could almost immediately transfer it out from Fabulous or to push it to the other Fabulous.com acc. (in a case I will sell this domain)?
Or it's like Network Solutions where I could do with won domains everything I want very fast?

It was pre-realized domains auction at NJ.

Thanks in advance, Nick

You can push it to other Fabulous accounts, not sure about moving it out of Fabulous right away; I think there is an 80 day lockdown.

Thanks Acro! If I could push a name to another account at Fabulous and can't move the name out it looks like "Godaddy style lock". And 80 days looks very promising :)
I will ask user Fabulous.com to reply here in my thread (didn't know they registered here :) .

This is from Fabulous website:

The domain name must not be within 60 days of its initial registration or within 60 days of being transferred from another registrar. This is an ICANN regulation designed to reduce the incidence of fraudulent transactions.

John, that's a different clause applying to registrations and transfers. For auctions of expired domains the situation is different.

Hey Guys,

There aren't any restrictions on Namejet won domains at this time.

You should be able to transfer them straight away. Let us know if you run into problems doing so.

Well what we have now:

1. Domain was paid December, 21
2. December 23 or 24 I initiated transfer at Godaddy
3. There was a small problem with unlocking the domain at Fab, but somebody from Fab (replying on my support ticket) made something and I unlocked the domain successfully.
4. December 27 I received an e-mail from Fab (Transfer Losing Update - with no approval link). Now I'm waiting for 5 days.

For now everything seems to be OK - seems that Fab don't have any "auction or any special lock" (so in that story with a "80 days lockdown" probably problem wasn't in the lock).

Will updated this thread when domain would be at Goddady.

Thanks, Nick

UPDATE:

Domain now is on my account!
