WrestlingDiscussion.com began as a sub domain of my wrestling news web site, wrestlingnewsworld.com located at wrestlingnewsworld.com/forums back in February 2003. Due to rapid growth we moved the forums to wrestlingnewsworld.net and called the boards WNW Forums. After acquiring the domain name WrestlingDiscussion.com the decision was made to move WNW Forums to the domain and begin it as a site all on its own (we moved to WrestlingDiscussion.com in May 2007). Today the web site receives over 65,000 unique visitors monthly, has nearly 90,000 threads, over 1.1 million posts, and is closing in on 6,000 registered members. The number of registered members is somewhat misleading as we routinely delete old accounts to maximize server space.
The web site is set up to produce revenue as we sale Premium Memberships for $5.95 a year to members. The memberships let the users have more privileges and remove all advertisements from the web site. In addition to Premium Memberships we use Adsense, A Zoogle Ads, and Right Media Ad Exchange.
The site uses vBulletin technology with a leased license paid up through September 5, 2008. We also have three very professional skins (designs) along with the default skin which includes a professionally designed logo. We have modified the boards with an Arcade, vBookie (a modification that allows users to bet with fake money known as vCash), as well as a script for Search Engine Optimization.
The reason that we are selling is because we are focusing more on our other web properties and are looking to move away from the professional wrestling industry. The site is growing and has tremendous earning potential. The site is extremely easy to run as it is fully staffed with Admins, Super Moderators, and Moderators that all work for free.
