WTF??? egzs.com...what is this???

Anyone have a clue what is egzs or what would be in the news all of a sudden?

I was just checking my Sedo account and it came out of nowhere within the last few hours and is now showing traffic of 378, 113 clicks, CTR of about 30%, but has so far paid $51.45 today!

There is a GZS Gesellschaft Fuer Zahlungssysteme (German credit card processor) but I find nothing in the news wire.

Any overseas news on this company or any asian news? Markets would be open now in Asia.

Quite a shock and a pleasant surprise. Last time this happened I ended up selling a domain for quite a hefty sum. Turned out to be a teen group from Turkey. Went from zero traffic to 25,000.

Sometimes it just pays to sit on things.

This may be a fluke or perhaps some passing market news, but we'll see.

That's the odd part.

Keyword entered is Domain Name. That is the majority.

All others are:

flowers
Jobs
Music
Mp3s
internet
Loans
Adult

Each with single digit hits, typically appearing as default on a Sedo lander.

Plus the two links above are each 25% of the traffic source (50% total) for domain name searches.

wow that is odd..maybe for some odd reason because of the metatags sedo is using your domain really does come up in certain regions of the world when people type in "free domain name" or whatever..odd, but great

That would be great. But just as quickly as it started, it has stopped.

It is google.co.uk but with search and results in Chinese.

This could get fun. The first and third results out of 10,800,000 are mine. texv.com has been gettin about 350 in traffic per month, zilch for revenue. Thus far for the month it has already topped the traffic, but no revenue.

I always hope I'll have a domain that this will happen to. You know, you reg a safe name or generic name that eventually becomes a typo of a popular site, or a popular search term in it's own right. Maybe one day.... good luck with yours though!

Well, I had a second one.

I have no idea what is going on and I am not going to jinx myself.

Took a break, ate, came back, checked yesterday stats, and lo and behold...

another domain went from zilch to $63.96.

Two domains in one day knocked down $118.44.

It starts with the letter x, is an LLLL.com and 85.6% of the searches are North America.
