"Skin Care" is a strong money word in Overture and I have an offer of $10,000 for this domain. Does this sound like a reasonable price or should I hold on to it?

Seems ok. It's up against the .com, so $10,000 may be quite good in fact.

I'd say hold out for more!

For a .net? I know it's a great sld, but...Do you know of many .net's that reach $xx,xxx?

I have to make a decision by tomorrow morning so I really appreciate all your considered advice. Tks.

Take it, unless someone actually gives a good reason to wait. I read the guy that owned cool.com passed up $8 million in cash and $30 million in stock, and perhaps he wishes he hadn't. This seems like a pretty good deal.

I would sell! $10K offers for this .net is a very reasonable offer and may not come along again.

Agreed. Guile is not beguiling you.

Take the money, and run.

Then invest in a three letter .com

Nice name, but i would sell for 10k, its a .net good luck!

It's not an incrediable or amazing offer but very reasonable ... I would sell !!

I'd develop. Google doesn't care if its .net or .com so its up there with skincare.com.

Get a few hundred hits a day off google and you'll be making lots of sales. Very salable product for the internet.

Have a think about it, if the $10,000 is essential then take it, its still a good offer.

I agree .com is king, but .net is the prince...
the name is amazing.
the offer is ok. If you need the money, sell. If you can hold on, I would suggest to wait.
its a giant industry. How many 'known' extensions will there be in the near future for this name???
.net is undervalued by many of us here. it isnt the same from what I see in the market for end users (assuming end user is a related company).
the offer is reasonable, but could be better.

Lots of good advice so far. Lots to think about. Any more responses?

Great name

low $xxxx

Personally (unless you are desperate for the money) i would hold out for more. The keywords are incredibly popular and the only reason that this name is being valued so low is because of the under-estimated .net extension. Yes it is not a .com, but the .net extension is the second most popular extension on the internet, personally i would consider it to be about half the value of the .com

If a buyer is confident enough to offer $10,000 then they are aware of the domains value. I am confident you could double if not triple that amount if you hold out for a bit longer. In fact i wouldn't be suprised if the buyer comes back with a revised offer if you reject it. But even if they don't you have a quality domain name that i would value at $20 - $30,000.

Best of luck and let us know how you get on.

After serious consideration I have decided to sell the domain. While a few advised that I hold on to it, the concensus was that it was a fair offer. I have therefore decided to sell, and the transaction is proceeding smoothly. Many thanks for all your good advice in helping me arrive at this decision.
