I assume .im is a country code? Have seen this only recently listed in the forums. The problem, as I'm sure you are aware, is the lack of synergy between "vegas" (obviously great) and the unknown ".im".

If you're looking for resale, it would be a tiny segment of the domain community only (low probability of sale). If looking toward development, you have a large obstacle to overcome in helping others understand what .im means. Without easy recognition, it will lack credibility in the marketplace and be difficult to promote. Just my opinion loscocco. I'm not up on .im.

Carlton, thanks for your apprasial. yeah .im is the ccTLD for the tiny country Isle of Man. which i know has nothing to do with Vegas. I guess i see more value in the keyword but am not sure yet. i just regged it.

People have been registering .im's because IM = Instant Messenger, not because they have any connection to the Isle of Man.

Just as people reg .tv domains.

Yeah, i don't think .extention has a whole lot of value in thoe country Isle of man but reather just as an easy t remember and good looking etention that is short for a lot of things. I mean how many domaineers and much less even regular people can name the country wiht the extention .TV or where its located. Its the fact that its easy to remeber and that we have something to associate it with.
