"xmas" is a term coined by the Jewish lobby to dilute the word "Christmas".

A common reply from a Christian that was sent a "Merry Xmas" note would be "Don't take Christ out of Christmas".

So IMO its commercial value is limited and it has very small non-commercial use.

the term x-mas is now bigger than christmas in the commercial world. x-mas is better
