Hi

not trying to cramp nobody's style, but in preparation for the explosion of the .xxx frenzy...

i think the forum should set-up specific areas for discussion /appraisal of .xxx and maybe restrict the .xxx sales threads to the adult section.

whatcha think bout that?

Just picked up PLR.xxx this morning. Not sure on value but thought I would register at least one xxx domain.

Rather than a conglomination (mess) of all things adult, have a section clearly identifiable as .xxx domains.

Very interesting point. Though are all .xxx names considered adult? What about books.xxx?

I am pretty much of the conviction that anything .xxx would be construed as adult or adult related. Even though you have keyword + .xxx, in my opinion it would fall in the .xxx category, adult or not. That is why if the forum was to have a subsection of .xxx, people would know to approach with caution.

And yes...books.xxx is a very good name (if you have that) and good marketable name for the adult market.

never heard of adult books? Unless its a defensive reg I don't see why anyone would buy keyword.xxx and set up a mainstream site on it.

In this case, I would think there is a good market for adult books.

There are some very highly collectible "forbidden" books of KamaSutra, volumes of Japanese Woodblock prints, general erotica, and even vintage pulp fiction books/magazines like the early detective series and even vintage playboy.

Another twist to this is books (as in bookings) to adult sin city, massage parlors, adults only cruises, flights, pleasure vacations, etc.

Yeah, that's pretty twisted. But there is a market for that.

while "books.xxx" is cool, i think "adultbooks.xxx" would be redundant, if the premise of .xxx is for the adult industry

I agree, .xxx is the only TLD that does not hide its adult-oriented focus.

Let's put everything on dnforum.xxx.
When it is released, that is.

My Registrar has started to complete my pending domain names from Sunrise A to Landrush, half of them are completed.

will this .xxx forum 'cum' with xrated tumbleweeds?
