Bad deal for Time Warner. I would've thought they had learned their lesson with AOL.

Time Warner / RoadRunner have been already serving (read: force-feeding) Yahoo ads to the DNS users of the network (read: 99% of all their cable Internet users) - for all non-resolving domains, Verisign-style.

Didn't they learn anything from that 'great' AOL deal??!

It seems those guys get bonuses for almost any deal...

Of course they get them! They roll up their sleeves and work hard, hard, hard...Just ask them! The poor boys need SOME incentive don't they??!

AOL is a sinking ship with a big hole in it.
And yahoo want to join them!!

Gravity & Black hole pulls and the force is way toooooooooooo much.

Hmmm..you guys may not be taking into account the infrastructure of Yahoo and the monetary backing of Time Warner, a media giant...this might turn out nicely for everyone.

Two Failures Don't Make A Success. Remember KMart and Sears deal?

AOL is not a sinking ship at all. Just look at all the brands they have either developed or have bought over the years. I'm not saying I would buy their stock but I don't think they will go under either.

I think a lot of money will be spent and zero progress will be made
