I've registered a handful of .name domains not really expecting much, mostly just as domains to use in emails to end users as a kind of gimmick to get their attention. Figuring if they saw an email from "[email protected]", it might at least gather enough interest to read the email containing the proposal.
Turns out that some of them actually get traffic. I'm not sure from where as I don't have full analytics on them, but a couple get 20+ UV's a day with a 20% CTR.
Anyways, can anyone give a rough valuation on domains of this kind? Thanks.
