i would invite you, but Ive had ypn for a few months now, and not once could i locate the ability to invite

Oh, I see what you mean - no, Yahoo choose to invite you after you've applied - you should get an email from them.

You're supposed to get an invite directly from Yahoo!, however, many have bought their membership from others of which Yahoo doesn't approve.
