I'm with you 24HourDomainer. Some of these domain name's that are sold, really don't make any sense to command these high prices and some domains that should deserve high prices. I have two domains on auction now, the name is question sold for 2 Million, few years ago, all you have to do is add a letter before the name and that would be mine domain names.

Guess it's price and demand for domains selling like this.

Hah! I was thinking the same thing. It has been said many times, but is worth repeating - A domain is worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it. Period.

Not too crazy of a sale actually....outside of the domain world.

Any brandable name (4/5/6 character .com) has $xx,xxx potential to the ideal end user... but to everyone else most of these names are worth more like $xxx-$x,xxx...and the majority of domainers on here probably wouldn't even pay $xx for a 6 character brandable.

I've seen a lot of 4 character brandables listed for sale in the low to high $xx,xxx range and don't see any reason for a 4 character to have any more value than 5 or 6 character brandable. The value for these is for the brand name and not the domain name or "keyword"/s
