Taking place on 14–15 October in Riga, the event forms the dedicated #BalticDomainDays track within CyberChess 2026, connecting domain industry discussions with the wider cybersecurity community.
DNS Security, Trust and Governance
The programme explores the issues shaping domain businesses and the infrastructure they depend on:
- European ccTLD market trends and cooperation between registries.
- The next new gTLD round: opportunities, risks and implications for ccTLDs.
- Intellectual property protection and internet governance.
- NIS2, DNS resilience and domain holder verification.
- The future of trust in the domain industry.
The programme includes registry panels, presentations and discussions, with a session on what “trusted” will mean in 2030 moderated by Helmuts Meškonis of Domain Summit.
A Regional Programme with International Perspectives
Baltic Domain Days is jointly developed by Latvia’s .LV Registry, Lithuania’s DOMREG (.LT) and the Estonian Internet Foundation (.EE), with longstanding support from ICANN.
Part of CyberChess 2026
Alongside the domain track, CyberChess offers sessions on cybersecurity strategy, technical research, threat intelligence and the secure use of AI. Shared plenary sessions bring participants together across these disciplines.
