About the meeting
ICANN88 is the Community Forum—the first ICANN Public Meeting of the year. The Community Forum runs for six days (Saturday through Thursday) and is structured around:

• Supporting Organization and Advisory Committee (SO/AC) working sessions
• Cross-community discussions and collaboration
• Plenary sessions on topics of community-wide interest
• A Public Forum (held at the first and third meetings in the annual cycle)

Why Lisbon
Lisbon returns as an ICANN Public Meeting host city for the first time since ICANN28 (March 2007), bringing the global Internet governance and DNS community back to Portugal.
