OARC 47 brings together the DNS operations and research community for a technical workshop in Vancouver, with online participation available. Attendance is open to DNS-OARC members and anyone interested in DNS operations and research.
The workshop supports DNS-OARC’s work to improve the security, stability and understanding of the internet’s DNS infrastructure. Its call for contributions covers DNS deployment, performance and resilience, security and privacy, DNSSEC, measurement, new protocols and lessons from operational incidents. These are proposed subject areas; the confirmed programme will be published on the event website.

18:00–20:00 — Newcomers’ dinner, by invitation. First-time attendees should indicate their interest during registration.
9 November
Approximately 10:00–17:00 — Workshop Day 1
10 November
Approximately 09:30–15:00 — Workshop Day 2
Approximately 16:00–17:00 — Members’ Annual General Meeting
11 November
Community Sessions Day, planned for practical collaboration, smaller-group discussions and hands-on knowledge sharing. No separate attendance fee applies to registered OARC 47 participants.

Community Sessions Day information
Registration is required for both in-person and online attendance. Published rates are US$500 for early-bird in-person registration, US$600 at the standard in-person rate and US$200 for remote participation. Standard registration begins on 3 October 2026 at 00:00 UTC. Eligible members and accepted speakers can access a 15% discount.
