Can you please set "$1 Domain Auctions" posts to not be edited just like the "Legal Issues" section?

Member Adatise started bidding in my auction and he posted couple of non-sense posts. then he edited these posts later.

He was also the high bidder in the auction and before 20 hours from the auction ending he edited his bid (after 5 days from placing his last bid) to "Withdrawn"

The auction is still running and ending today but he already ruined it by all this mess. (link in my signature)

I'll not cancel the auction respecting DNF rules & the other bidders but please take an action against member Adatise and also let me know what do you think about my suggestion.

Thanks.

Sounds reasonable, I agree. Bids in those auctions should be binding, and disabling the editing should help. But sounds like that could end up being more work for admins to fix things that go legitimately wrong. Perhaps, in addition to disabling editing, an option to "edit" an offer in a subsequent post with approval from the thread starter? Just throwing an idea out there.

If only the seller is allowed to bump the thread, you can quote the current highest bid. So that if the bidder modifies his post, you still have the evidence.
