O.k what do you reckon they will fetch ? minimum and maximum ?

dont know but O.BIZ is going to be released by overstock.com

I think the minimum they will get is $1. Max is $50k depending on the domain. I think since Overstock is willing to try the 1 character, other companies will follow suit.

My guess would be high four, low five – topping out at about $25k for the better/more popular ones.

I am inclined to think low to mid $$$$ for most.
Only 5 names were assigned as part of RFP so I don't think .biz is hugely desirable. Imagine if they were .com.

I am guestimating around $20-$50k each..depends on the name..Some of them like O.biz and I.biz might sell for slightly more..Then again, V.biz and Z.biz may sell for much less..We'll see :)

they are worth no more than xxxx each imo
i think most will go in this range

there will be one or two in the xx,xxx range though, and possibly one surprise or two. maybe x.biz for example

again, anyone buying will have to promote etc and spend $ otherwise it will sit there and get zero traffic like all other biz

personally i wouldnt pay over xxx range and i have maybe 20 .biz all generic one word and it appears pretty worthless

dont waste your money guys

Hah, I would like to bid on one, maybe two, but I know I am not going to be able to compete with "the big boys"... so its almost worth not even trying... I don't think I want one that bad...

.biz is just another worthless tld, I don't see any additional value in .biz compared to .com

Why would a company want to use a .biz name? one letter names might be rare, but being a .biz still not so desirable. These are more like collectors items, maybe a small developer will get one, but they'll never find big endusers. I'd not waste my money on them.

That's the big tip off.
As soon as one of your competitors starts telling you not to buy it...
Buy it!
Yes it is a very good strategy. Divert your competitors to dubious investments.
When their pockets are empty they can no longer compete against you at snapnames :)
Some domainers have been missing after investing large sums into .mobi.

I'm still here, sd....:D

...and, I'll let you know when my premium made-for-mobile .mobi sites pay off...:D

As for these .biz...

I can't see a natural market for them...There's been no real interest by the large corporates in .biz...You'd need a swag of cash & time to brand & promote a business around one, yourself...The punters out there (internet users) never type in '.biz'....and, a single letter .biz looks very strange, imo, as a Url...

A vanity collection item, at best, I'd say.
