Say i own the .info version of a .com domain that sold for $150k what would it be worth ? by the way it fits the .info extension nicely !

Maybe if you deleted the last 3 zeros it could be its resell value, $150. It depends alot in what type of buyer you find and how much he's ready to spend on the name.

I did not realise a .com version of a domain is worth 1000 times more than a .info ?

Once someone owns the .com every other TLD is worth less. The owner of the .com could careless becuase the majority of the world and marketing is still geared toward .com so it's no loss for the owner not to reg the other TLD's. They might some minimal benefit but there is no way they or anyone else pays anywhere near what they paid for the .com. IMHO.. Cheers.
