I think you have to be good at it you gotto know what you are doing and pic cleaver investments. Also a small amount of domainers are successful . I started in 2005 so i did not have it easy maybe it took me 2 years to know what a good domain investment was, we all wish we started erlyer, I do believe more domainers are unsuccessful than successful you carnt just throw money into domaining and expect to make you have to know what you are doing otherwise you will just lose your $$$$$$$$$$

Just came across 50 domains of a client, they all ended with fanatic.com.

Ok, .com yes, everything before fanatic...no and no. We pick what we can get and make the best of it, buying domains that end with fanatic is an example of a newbie buy. I have a handful of good names and many that are on the way out, so the money is catching the drop and buying names in trends.

So, it's not dead...just need to be smart and aggressive.

You DO realize that this is actually a short and silly list compared to most other businesses, right?

You could be dealing with warehouse fires, armed robbery, cancer-causing chemicals, potential mine collapse, quality liability (food), death (airplane crashes), etc etc etc.

All of these hazards do not happen everyday to businesses, and most are protected by insurance. Most are result of incompetence.

then we won't have to see their same domains getting bumped every day at the top of the que

with the forever drops in prices $180 > $170 > $160> $125 > $90 > $45 > $25 > $10 > sale closes in 48 hrs > last chance > etc.
