14g.com
godaddy reg
apr2013 is expires date

if buyer pm me and we reach deal i can push domain fast upon payment.

prefer paypal payment and looking for offers in P.M

regards

Do not buy anything from this seller as he has not pushed a domain i have purchased

I would cancel that payment immediately, if possible.

None of his contact/whois info matches.

All the domains he is selling has WHOIS privacy.

He has not pushed the domain that I have purchased, but claims he has done so on a public thread instead of PMing me.

I e-mailed the owner of the domain name I supposedly purchased, he has not e-mailed me back.

He has no feedback, and has not been a member for even a year.

As you can see he is online now, and has been quite a few times since I purchased the domain. But he has not replied to any of my PMs after payment.

All of these should have been a big no-no when I was buying, but I didn't care to look. Looks like all of us will be hunting this guy down.

It was a "gift", so too late. I'll reverse it on my CC and explain to PayPal as I make thousands of dollars in transactions a month there-- surely they would understand.

I was giving him the benefit of the doubt on such a small amount of money.

If he doesn't push, he'll be banned for sure. Hopefully you can pay your electric bill and rent with the money you just received from scamming members giving you the benefit of the doubt.

Additionally, I am going to request privacy from this domain to be removed to know who you are.

Yep, shows you again, can't let down your guard. Sometimes we get too comfortable in a community.

I doubt that he owns any of the domains that he has listed. He is claiming to own domains that have WHOIS privacy, this way we won't know. They all have different nameservers as well.

He does have a "verified" paypal account, which means he/she has entered correct bank information.

This is the last message I have received, yesterday:

i know it may takes time but i promise in some times i push you the domain by today
you know its Xmas and most of us out of home
by the way nothing to worry
will msg you again when pushed the domain
sorry and sorry for delay:("

Thanks Adam and everyone as it's nice to slow down these "people!"

Stumbled on this thread because I wanted to contact the webmaster who runs 14g.com Sorry to hear you got scammed.

Way to rub my nose in it again by bumping

No, I did not reverse it after PayPal denied my claim. I typically would (I've successfully reversed $2000+ on a stolen credit card in a matter of days), but with a long standing relationship on PayPal (10+ years), they should have... but didn't. I figured if I requested it reversed on my credit card, I may be banned or something bad happen to me on PayPal. So I let it fly at the unknown expense this could have caused in the future by reversing the payment. :disappointed:

I've done this before and nothing happened to my paypal account. That said it was for tangible goods I am not sure if that makes a difference.
