Hi Jon,
has a lot of potential. i'd pick up the the .co.uk as well if you haven't already. i can imagine an estate agent or something that covers the region wanting this, or even naming itself this! a reseller might not want this at present. i would hang onto it, who knows what future offer you may have.

Hi, thanks for the reply, er the .co.uk seem to be taking by Tyne and Wear Web Development, i was thinking about using this domain maybe like a myspace for
the north east!

Hate to be negative, but in my humble opinion, this domain is a little difficult for the rest of the world who may not know about the region. Of course you know Americans are often solipsists geographically and often otherwise (hey now, don't you fellow Americans jump down my throat on that statement! I speak for myself), which very much justifies Predator's suggestion to get the regional TLD.
