Hi,i am just wondering ,will .fm get popular,
there is a guy i know selling a LLL.FM domain for around $4k
and a radio station in my country with exact name to match LLL.fm
It is big enough radio station,
is it worth buyin
any comments much appreciated and thanks in advance

You have to own the domain to post in this thread. It not only states that in the rules but the first post in this thread is titled that.

as for any extension, don't buy it unless you know it. if thats .com and .ie then so be it.

You have to appraoch your purchases and evaluate their potential realistically or your going to lose before you get out of the gate. I'll buy names under 1k like candy, but anything above I look at with reserve.

I don't the know the going rate for a LLL .fm and I don't know if .fm names sell well. If I understand correctly you want to buy the domain in the hope of selling to the radio station.
I think that it is extremely risky to put up 4K for a name that may not be sold and remain useless. There is little hope that you will find a buyer for an even higher amount IMO.
I would rather contact the owner and offer a brokerage deal (you find a buyer for them, they get a sale, you make a profit, it's win-win) so you don't take the risk of a financial loss.
