2 character domains

I thought that Verisign and Pir were going to stop letting 2 character domains from dropping.

But, 9c.com was suppose to drop today.

So, are two character domains in .com and .net still dropping?
And, .org?

I think 2 character .com/.net's still drop, but .org's don't.
