Hi!

Yes, it has been hijacked and my attorney is just beginning a lawsuit against Internic (and suit for damages against the thief) sine they are not responding to our evidence of ownership, proof of credit card payments for the domain since 1996, renewal notices sent to "us" directly and renewals in response to this.....

The court should not have too much trouble recovering our property.

Thanks for asking though... What do you know about this??

Best regards,

Chrisztina

Dear Chrisztina,

I've noticed the domain BS.com was transferred from your ownership long time ago and i was wondering if you sold it or was stolen from you?

Thank you.

Bashar, thank you for updating us.

Duncan, can you tell us a little bit more how you ended up with bs.com?

It was in an acct that you acquired at Godaddy?

Why is it always Network Solutions? Do they have poor safeguards?
Or, is it because they have a lot of the quality domains under their control?

I don't think Duncan now owns the domain, I think he is just saying Deleted Domains was showing it as available:

I have a deleted domains account and look what I found..

bs.com Registered (Previously DROPPED on 03/07/2005) 03/12/2005

How can somoene get a 2 letter?

GT, you are correct. I misread his posting.

I got to focused on the investigation part of it.

Thank you for clarifying that for me.

I tried to acquire this name in January. It was registered as follows:

BS.COM
Useful, Get (BS7-DOM)
Domestic Busyness Served LLC
2028 Murray
Pittsburgh, PA 15217
412-421-3021

The street address tracked to Brad P erelman, the owner of Judaism.com, Judaica.com and PersonalWebsite.com, with whom I spoke in January. He claimed to have no knowledge of this domain. My best instincts sensed otherwise.

About a month or so after our conversation, the admin contact and corresponding telephone were modified. The updated admin contact, Alpaslan Altunköprü, a name of Turkish origin, appears to be either:

1) a recent graduate of Smokey Hills High School in Aurora, Colorado. (Ironically, my nephews graduated from that high school.); or,

2) a respected Turkish expert in multimedia presentations.

Yet, the toll-free phone number listed belongs to a Massachussetts woman in the real estate and mortgage business, who seemed ligitimately mystified about any knowledge of the domain name.

Shortly thereafter, BS.com was transferred from NetSol to GoDaddy and the registrant data privatized. I think my original instincts were on target.

Bad odor.

i have no idea why its always networksolutions and get moved to godaddy

seems godaddy is giving security for theif to keep stolen domains there, i had several incidences that stolen domains from other registrars into godaddy doesn't get recovered, especially if the previous registrar was networksolutions.

mall.com case was internal transfer which godaddy recovered...

lets see how the previous owner of BS.com acts toward this

what a BS :-D

I'd say mid to high $xx,xxx but no legitimate buyer will ever spend that much on the domain because all legitimate buyers would do at least a little bit of research on the domain, and easily see it was stolen or at least some suspiciouse activity.

i heard new icann rules say if a 2-letter name is deleted then icann gets to claim it. so dont even hope to grab one of these babies in the drop. better buy it instead.
