OMD !!! I feel soooooooo sorry for him.

Thanks :) I hope the old owner doesn't find out too soon :D

Aren't you glad you didn't buy cloud.com. How much would you pay for it?

Not too long ago you'd pay $50k - $200k cash for anything like this; the $200 million price tag comes with the business, software and clients.

What a shame! I think I'd be freaking out if I was the original owner.

But they obviously no longer saw any value and dropped. Hard to predict that far back that Cloud would be the service it is today.

Still I bet they're kicking themselves

I think the owner who sold the name will become alcoholic as well , it is a lot of money that come in one dose

it is a crazy money world!

If I was the original owner that let Cloud.com drop, hearing news like this would look make my day overcast, with a 100% chance of showers :disappointed:

The people who sold cloud.com for $200 million invested at least $20 million in the site, so I wouldn't lose any sleep if I sold just the domain for $500k.

I knew I should have held onto this name!
