I'd like to hear what you guys think what the following domains are worth:

2007canadagames.com
industrialgood.com
rssvertical.com

The first is the exact same domain as the games are using, except with a .com rather than a .ca. In other words, the official site is at 2007canadagames.ca. There are lots of searches (10 K+ per overture) for the games and related words (e.g. 'location + games'), and I'm guessing good type-in traffic, come press time for the games.

IndustrialGood.com is the singular of industrialgoods.com, a common business term.
RSSVertical.com is an idea for an RSS vertical search site. Brandable.

Any appraisal ideas, considerations etc. would be much appreciated.

I only see real value in the 2k7 domain.


Industrialgood just doesn't work to me at all, it must be the plural. I suppose RSSVertical.com could garner something.


I'm actually interested in the Canada domain. If you let me know what you are asking for it, I may be interested.


If you paid reg fee for the domains it's not a bad pick up I think.

I did pay reg fee for the domain... saw it and was basically shocked. Gotta love doing broad keyword research (I'm an SEO) on Overture!

I'd probably be looking for a few hundred bucks (300-500), negotiable if you can trade me domains also and/or provide some quality content for my siteflip.biz website.

I'll be looking for some expert advice though, so the faster you get back to me, the less likely I am to be hesitant and second guess my estimate into thinking it's worth more (I already had an auto-appraisal tell me it was worth several K, because it comprised the exact words of the subject, was .com, and brandable, but I'm a bit skeptical of automated stuff)

How do people treat stats like these usually? By the way, there are months to go until the games, meaning traffic and clicks are just going to increase...

Yes, you will start to see some more traffic as the event draws near since the official site is .ca But with the current lander, you're not going to get much in the way of revenue - visitors aren't going to find anything remotely close to what they're looking for.

You've got until the event in Feb to milk this name, after which, it won't be worth much...

Thanks for the tip Razor. I tried to test different ones. This one seemed to be the only one that didn't have 100 other unrelated words (why would i have 'mortgage' ads on a sports domain...).
Any idea about the value? Or about a better landing page at Namedrive?
