hmm, there are well over 30 pages for X* combinations in my chinese dictionary.
IMO, as a chinese myself, i don't see any speciality for X* myself though as other alpha combinations are too commonly, equally, used in every single chinese daily lives.
Maybe the chinese over at China has fetish over X*, who knows

anyway, just to name a few words for X*
Xiang (3) Ni (3) - miss you
Xing (4) Qu (4) - interest/interested
Ji (2) Xiang (2) - good luck/blessed

*homonyms condition applies
