If, for the sake of argument, it was e.g. "vans.com" it might be worth 100x as much as "cheats.com" even though both might get the same amount of daily typein traffic (assuming NO websites - these are just examples I plucked out of the air, so don't shoot me if one's a popular site...)

So without knowing the domain and therefore how commercially viable it is, it's impossible to say!

The name has been branded extensively, which explains the +300 type-ins per day, but the name is not something the average Joe has even heard of so the traffic is very, very targeted.

I guess everyone with a broadband Internet connection who has downloaded a movie will be in contact with this name, so the traffic will only increase.

I was offered $10,000 and $15,000 for the domain only today.

It's currently being developed into a pay site and it's estimated that it will bring in +$20,000 per year.

PM'd you the name Edwin/Whois-Search
If you have further input I would appreciate it.

Based on these figures I would lease the name instead of selling it. If it will bring $20000 per year , ask for $1000 per month and settle for $800 per month ($10000 per year). Good luck. If you wish so , pm me the name for more comments privately. :)
