Popular web site lists breakthrough 3D color printer with iPhone and Kindle

BURLINGTON, Mass., Jan. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- The ZPrinter(R) 450 has been
named one of 15 "revolutionary inventions of 2007" by Entrepreneur.com, the
leading small business web site on the Internet.
(Logo: www.newscom.com/cgi-bin/prnh/20040630/ZCORPLOGO )
"This technology could have a significant impact on many different
industries that rely on models and landscapes," the web site said
(www.entrepreneur.com/slideshow/188038.html), noting the machine's
office environment compatibility and automated features.
Released in March, the ZPrinter 450 represents a giant step in making
high-definition color 3D printing available to the masses. The machine is the
first color 3D printer to break the $40,000 price point, the most highly
automated, and the most compatible with contemporary office environments.
Entrepreneur.com editors sifted through hundreds of inventions that became
available in the past year to compile the list of innovative, practical and
fun products. The ZPrinter 450 was listed third after the iPhone and the
Kindle electronic reading device.

it's a future forward name that may gain value if price can be reduced cheap enough for the average consumer

hold another year or two, unless you get a nice offer

That is the kind of name that has foresight. Many people that reg .mobi claim to have vision in terms of whats coming, when they confuse a technology with potential with a TLD that claims to be connected to a technology. 3D is a case in which the number does more good than harm. I would hold onto this name until the technology makes it or not. If it does, great, if not, the offers you would get now are the opportunity cost you have to holding it, unless a really good offer comes along its not worth selling early. the "color" hurts in there IMO, but still a name with real potential.

good name for long-term investment. I saw an article about an "affordable" 3d printer for $23k. Going to be a while before there's one in every home...

Nice name for the future. But now not much value. Just wait a few years!

It's probably not the sort of domain a complete noob like myself should be buying anyway - maybe if I'd been doing it for a few months.
