closed 4 letter words

There are number of not-so-often-used 4 and 5-letter .com
words available.
Could they be of any value?

E.g.(5): unapt.com , hajis.com, zincy.com, obols.com, etc.

Depends on what you can do with them.

Example - I recently registered Youze.com, because of its meaning: \Youze\, n. [From a native East Indian name.] (Zo["o]l.) The cheetah... Good Logo possibilities.

Also, there is slang English like 'Youze Guyz' that adds a small amount of familiarity.


Anything like that might be worthwhile.

I wouldn't reg them unless they have significant OVT results (500+) These results just give you a clue as to how widely used the word is. Also check google results and see if any other extensions are taken. The words you listed above are worthless imo.

However, in 3-5 years period, I expect all 4-5-6 letter names to be unavailable (means $$).
I think anything with a bit of meaning should be registered right now.

I did some research and registered the following tldn recently,
some of them possible jewels (I hope):


caffs.com
Dhals.com
dogey.com
faquir.com
fatted.com
Jibing.com
maills.com
reDye.com
reOil.com
reSaw.com
wakers.com

And one "two-words dn", but I couldn't resist:
ThrowDice.com

I would like to hear some opinions.

it also depends how brandable it is, and wether if when heard needs correction on spelling, for these reasons i think zincy.com is pretty good

Well, I disagree. Just because a name is short does not make it valuable. I have several 2 character names that I cannot sell. There was a HUGE rush to register all 3 char .coms, 3 letter .net, and all 3 letter .orgs about 18 months ago. Today, there are bunches unregistered.

there are a lot of pre 3 letter .orgs left and quite a few 4-5-6 char names left. I do not see them ever becoming valuable as the number of combinations grow rapidly the more letters you have.

HOWEVER, this is speculation, and everybody has their own opinion. You might be right, who knows? Only time will tell
