ty anyone alse

low $$
need development.

If you just registered it, why do you need an appraisal? It's worth no more than what you paid.

ToastyX... I asked for Appr. and since you didn't do that why did you post? Did you see anywhere in my post that I asked someone to ask me why I need domain appr. or to hear some unwanted comments... All I need is simple good or bad domain worth this much or this much if you can't do that don't do anything..

Developed Mid-High $xxx
Undeveloped Low $xx

I did give you an appraisal: it's worth no more than what you paid.

I don't see why you need an appraisal if you just registered the domain name. You can't just register a domain name and expect it to be worth more than what you paid. Registration is not a magic wand that makes domain names valuable.

Three types of domain names have value:

1. Domain names that mean something
2. 2-character and 3-letter gTLD domain names and 1-character ccTLD domain names
3. Domain names that receive significant traffic

So let's go through those one by one for nozz.net:

Does "nozz" mean anything to most people? Is it a popular term? No.
Is nozz.net a 2-character or 3-letter gTLD domain name or a 1-character ccTLD domain name? No.
Does nozz.net receive any significant traffic? I can say with 98.6% certainty that it does not.

As far as I can see, nozz.net has no qualities that make it valuable.

why are you commenting again? I am not interested in what you have to say I told you that ... I don't mind every single person on this forum telling me that name is bad and not worth anything if they do it with digneti. Don't post anymore on any of my threats.

it happened that i registered names and days after i sold them for mid to high xxx $ and they didn't have any traffic at all

so i think bizzy may be lucky and find some who likes his 1 day old domain and willing to pay more than the reg fee

What is your problem? First you claimed I didn't give you an appraisal when I did. Nowhere in your original post did you state what specific information you were looking for. In my second post, I gave you a more detailed appraisal including what, in my opinion, makes a good domain name and why, in my opinion, nozz.net is not a good domain name. You asked for an appraisal, and I gave you one. Why bother asking for an appraisal if you don't want to read other people's opinions? You are being very immature. You talk about dignity, but then you send me the following PM:

If you don't like my appraisal, fine, but there's no need to resort to insults. I never insulted you in any way, and if it came across that way, I apologize. I simply asked a question and stated my opinion about your domain name.

Then either the domain name meant something or you got lucky. Perhaps I should clarify. What I meant was one can't just register any domain name and expect it to be worth something. It has to have meaning or traffic or some other desirable quality to be worth something.

so i think bizzy may be lucky and find some who likes his 1 day old domain and willing to pay more than the reg fee

That may be the case, but luck is not something one should rely upon.

Sorry toastyX, your logic is flawed. I've sold 4-letter (and 5 letter) domains that meant "nothing" - except to the companies who used them as products, stock symbols etc. The whole "no traffic = no value" paradigm is very flawed.

this is exectly the:

1. Domain names that mean something

somthing to that company

:)
