"Search engines are far, far smarter than they used to be in 2002 – a decade back when manually submitting sites to search engines was still a thing. You don’t need to submit your site to Google. Google will find it automatically. Same goes for other search engines that matter.
In fact, the Google Caffeine update has made Google’s spiders all the more agile and efficient. Google digs through billions upon billions of new pages every day. To think that you need to manually submit your site for this web-page munching machine to find it would be absurd."

I handregged a domain months that is spelled backwards ( don't ask) and received Google number #1 result after 2 weeks without any work other than purchasing the domain for $7.49, has typin traffic of 3-5 a day probably from natural curiosity as well.

Congrats but I can't imagine why anyone would typein a name backwards.

I'm terrible at SEO, that's why I don't have 20 full websites up and running. So clearly I'm not an expert but that was one of the best, albeit short, SEO articles I have read in a while.

5. The Myth: SEO is a One-Time Job

A SEO’s job never really ends. Your competition is perpetually evolving, and Google keeps throwing curveballs at you with algorithm updates. You can’t possibly sit back and relax if you are to win at the SEO game.

Congrats but I can't imagine why anyone would typein a name backwards.

I believe meta tag keywords are still used by some SEs and even the big one where it's said they do not use it may change their mind one day without notice and start using meta keywords, at least to a small degree.

For years there have been lots of SEO articles saying no need to use keywords but my question is how lazy are domainers or web designers where they can't take a minute to typein a line of keywords into their html code or parked page control panel? What's the big deal doing that, especially since it's basically only a one-time job.
