Affiliate Programs $50 a month? Worth while?

I've added a referral scheme to my site at http://www.ownthemap.com/referral.php and wanted to know your opinions about it as you know your affiliate/referral schemes.

How could I improve it? Is it worthwhile having?

Hey daniel, I was checking it out and really like your layout...on a way that you might can improve it...I could only think of one. Your website would look awesome on a 19" screen, but not everyone has that big of a screen..how about the opening page being zoomed in a little bit...maybe to the UK since that is where you are. Just a thought though...

I think this is a great idea but would take it one step further , by geolocating each visitor by IP and zooming in on his location!

Also, if you are using affiliate software I would make it a two-tier program.

Also sell me the boat as a link or multiple boats.
