YMP.COM (remove) 2278.00 PENDING 07-DEC-05
ZVK.COM (remove) 2178.00 Not Highest Bidder (place bid)

Stupid.

US$300 to US$350 at DNF.
Nobody buy over US$500 here.

txe.com is at Pool.com, the current bid is $1727. Maybe I should liquidate some of my names there :shy:.

SignatureDomains catches for pool now?

I guess so.

I am one of the bidders at Pool on TXE.com

But, it has gone past my comfort point!

Whois-Search,

What is depressing is that not one of those are mine!

DropWizard beat the $3,001 bid on EQI.COM at Namewinner. Way to go Gordon - you made someone VERY happy! :)

I think that there is something about the human minds here, am looking since long time the situation about high bids at NW, I'M ready to bet any amount that for example if the name yke.com or ymp.com was offered to the highest bidder just the day before the deletion he will not take the name even for the half of that ammount, this is something very strange that have all to do with auction things, I mean if a name is on auctions but because is a deleting name the bids are very very high, if the same names are offered for sale or even for sale trough an auction on ebay or somewhere else the same people that bid high for deleting names will not bid that high and even the half on ebay or other sites.

your thought about this?

Agreed - NW bids have been totally crazy recently - unjustifiable. Take domainshop.com as an example.

I'll tend to bid higher in NW, but I can control myself well. :) It's easier to deal with NW than people, where you'll need to negotiate with seller, handle transfers, etc.

Some people might think getting a dropped name is the only chance in a lifetime, so they can pay anything for it? :D

well, thats true but not completelly, I mean for example you said: "Some people might think getting a dropped name is the only chance in a lifetime, so they can pay anything for it?"

what about if the peoples that bid so high are almost ever peoples that owns hundred and even thousands of names better then the ones are bidding?

Yup, you might be right, there is more to the domain when you win it, there is a victory over others that comes with the domain.
Does it makes sence?
:)
