For Sale 7554 ovt w/e but very poor traffic

besides running google on the keywords, try to run the entire domain with ext in google search, if it comes up zero like your domain does, there is no way that overture rating is real, people arent looking for it,
check to see if the name was a site and if it has an alexa rating, if none, then that is another indication the ovt stats are fake,
and you can also check link popularity,
I dont know who sold you the name, i know there has been a couple with this 7500+ ovt ratings and if i were you i would keep my eye on the seller and if he/she keeps selling these types of domains then watch out, someone has a script and if padding the stats, its very sad,
be happy it wasnt a purchase thru club drop that would have cost you thousands, best of luck,

Need to make sure when you buy something that it's the real deal. It doesn't actually have 145k results in google, it has around 26 http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&safe=off&q=%22stetson+performance%22
When you do a search for compounded keywords you need to use quotes "like this" otherwise it searches for each word individually and shows you all results. you'll notice that even out of those results you get a few that talk about "Stetson's performance" so even that is not a direct hit.
I could reg 100 or so of these types of ovt names but they are all junk. When doing the ovt jiggle make sure it's for the whole combination with no spaces but including the extension, anything less and you shouldn't solely base it on ovt unless it's very generic.
No script needed, just look for the keyword that is included in one of the suggestions for the full domain and do a search for that particular keyword. I won't say anymore but it's easy to work out from what i've said :-D

hi, I'm back and I have read your posts.
Yes it's true, Monday was a bad day for me, I was in a very bad period with my real life and wanted to get out of my feelings and I thought luck struck me like lightning, but I was too fast and still a newbie in this.
So I bought it from a member (if you check monday huge post you can see who he is) but he didn't do anything wrong I was the stupid one.
I hope he didn't selfinflate the ovt stats with scripts or smth like that, that would be really bad.
So I think I can't do anything with it, maybe develop something and add it to google.
Any other idea?
