For all three you should easily get mid to high $x,xxx
and maybe more.

There is probably good documentation on what
3 digit .coms go for nowadays, lots of people looking for
them in the domains wanted thread. They either list
their budget or would make you an offer.

Obviously there are only 1000 possible three
digit number dot coms, and all are taken, so they are
pretty rare.

These kind of names are especially useful because
they can be used by non-english speaking populations
for websites that are easy to remember. Lots of
China websites are just numbered dot coms, for example.

These kind of domains are almost guaranteed to keep
increasing in value over time, so it's like an investment.

Another idea, if you are going to sell, would be to find
the highest offer you can, then start an auction in the
domain auctions thread at that price. That would tell
you the kind of demand there is.

Good luck (not that you need it with those names)

I am going to disagree.

How many sites do you know, off the top of your head, that are a three number site?

Hrmm .... none.

If you had something like 888.com sure that would fetch $xx,xxx+, but, imo, 955, 881, etc are maxing out at $x,xxx

If you haven't heard about many NNN domains it's for 2 reasons:

1. Most of the websites are Chinese
2. A few people own most of them and have them parked :-/

Here are some of the high ranking digit names. A pretty good percent have high Alexa (relative to the general pool of registered domains), especially if you consider that like I say most are parked.

http://www.alexa.com/data/details/?url=163.com
http://www.alexa.com/data/details/m...://www.3721.com
http://www.alexa.com/data/details/m...p://www.126.com
http://www.alexa.com/data/details/?url=89.com

and so on....

Numeric domains are great because:

- They are language independent.
- There will always be someone who live at 456 West something or have a phone number or lucky number that matches.
- People use number to identfy ALL kinds of things, like dates, zip codes, area codes, and so on. So while this number might not mean anything TO YOU, you can bet there is someone out there who would want this. Numbers are like lottery tickets (who knows when there will be another 9/11 or car model or federal regulation with this name).

For NNN.com I wouln't sell anything for less than 5k.

Which is why I do not value it so high. You said that the only big NNN.com sites are Chinese. Fine. But as an english speaker, I have never ever ever ran across a single successful site that was made purely of numbers. In that manner, to me, the domain is decent.

NO.ONly Chinese like 3 number dot com.Depend on chinese interests.
BUt to me,i 'd like to have it at a price of less than $2500.
If you claim too high price as 3000+,you cannot sell it out.
ONLY PRICE NO MARKET.NO ONE NEED IT.
if you want to sell it ,request a reasonable price.if not, please claim high offer.

Perhaps, but typing it in is a pain. And its not easy to remember (which is a big problem to me). So I still say in my market area, it is not worth it.

Exactly. Because you have no idea about the 3-letter / number market, your opinion really doesn't matter.

A domain is worth only as much as someone is willing to pay. Unless are you willing to pay $4000 per each domain right now, your opinion is as valuable as mine.

Funny 1x1 - your signature says you're looking for 3-number .com domains.
Are you trying to devalue the domains and get them cheap?
If you have any 3-letter .com's for under $2500 I'd like to buy from you.

Opinions in the reseller market are not representative of real market value. Unless you're experienced with corporate ventures, I suggest that you stop this kind of misinformation.

Last time I checked, this was a domain appraisal by peers. If you have a problem, either talk to the moderators, or stop sniping at me thanks :)

:cheeky:
I can do that with two fingers, one swipe on my keypad.
I can get to that site faster than almost any other domain.
The only faster domain I know of it x or z.
Do you use the numbers above the other keys, or those off to the right?
Try with the keypad over there and see how easy it is.
